I know that colour as British Racing Green...
Doesn't suit a Jeep IMO but I'm big into racing.

Then again all look the same when plastered in mud.

I actually ordered mine like yours -- Natural Green + tan. About a week after I ordered, I chickened out with the tan and asked the dealer to see if it could be switched back to gray. He said the Jeep was in 'D' status, so not likely, but I guess he emailed and they said "OK". We'll see!

When is yours supposed to hit the lot?
Mine won't be ready for a while...I'm working in Iraq and just extended my contract...I'll pick it up in June. I'm actually hoping that by the time that it's scheduled for build, I can switch over to the new orange color on the jeep website!

I like the orange myself. My '94, in the picture above, came with the tan interior and looked good. It was four years old when I got it so never was a choice in that matter

I've got a Natural Green with the tan interior on order...how bad is it going to be?
It will look good. Some of the older Wrangler Sahara's (the TJ models) came with a dark green body and tan interior. It looked REALLY sharp. I have the Jeep Green with a "tan/grey" color interior right now, but I would love for it to be more of a tan color. It really sets off the green. Just my

When I ordered my 2007 Sahara unlimited, it was susposed to be black with grey interior, when I went to pick it up, had tan interior and top,put up a stink and they knocked $700 off, when Chrysler sent me a form to fill about the service at the dealer, I told them about the screwup, 2 weeks later dealer phoned and had a check for $1000.00, it pays to bitch

To me, real BRG is almost black. This looks more like Jaguar Racing Green, at least in those pictures.

An extra 1000 back would be nice but I have nothing to bitch about. I bet black with tan looks great. I sure could use that money for improvements but I'am a happy guy. Chrysler is in a whole different world right now.

Drove up to Seattle and it cruises nice. Tried to keep it under 65 but it definately has its own mind. One tank of gas now done and 19.2 MPG. Suburban was lucky to get 15. No worries.

Happy Thanksgiving

I'm really curious what this color looks like with a decent camera shot on a bright day so
that we can really compare. It would be super nice to see it next to Jeep Green, but the
pictures in this thread are really not very good at letting us see what this color really looks
like. I'm surprised by comments such as "It looks darker than ...", etc. How can we possibly
tell? If anyone lives near me who owns this new color, I'd be delighted to make
myself, my Jeep and my photography skills available for a little photo shoot so we can really
see what this color looks like. Pictures under awnings or with the color balance skewed
just have the potential to be misleading. Sorry if that seems like a rant.

Default Better Pictures

Hey Mark,

I have tried to do my best but it's a little dark in the Pacific NW right now with all the storms comming through. The last three shots aren't too bad. The side shots had a little flash to show the green but I will try to get some better shots tomorrow if the sun shines a little. I have been too busy driving it around to think about pictures which I am sure you can undestand. I appreciate your patience. If you not my other post Jeep may be stopping production on the Green in December so the color issue may be moot!

Ordered the Gobi rack from David. May take the Seattle ferry tomorrow the visit Northride tomorrow. Grandkids love the ferry. Hope its open but if not no big deal.

Happy Thanksgiving.
