Default Roll cage tire carrier

i might be stupid but i know ive seen Unlimiteds that have a tire carrier on there cage behind the back seat....But ive looked everywhere (online 4x4 stores) and cant find anything...anyone know where i could find themthanks in advance

I have not seen any off the shelf designs like that. All set ups like that have been custom jobs.

Default Nice job Northernmedic

I was actually contemplating the exact setup Northernmedic has posted above. I wanted to eliminate having to haul a heavy ass 40" spare suspended off the rear end and keep it in as close to the rear axle as possible. Although I have found it easier to get the spare in the cargo area then up on the tire carrier, I'm not sure I want to lose the cargo area. After seeing the way Northernmedic has fab up this carrier, I may just try to do this with the addition of a quick release for the tire carrier/mount tubing where it attaches to the cage.

Thanks guys. Both great ideas. I gotta have all my back seat. 2 kids. Northernmedic. That is awesome.? I may try my hand at that.

This carrier has only 6 hex bolts on each arm to remove to take the carrier out. Simple tubing sleeves welded to bent tubing.
