Rancho 4inch lift? Anyone try one here?
Got my lights re-aimed got the steering wheel centered and Changed the shift points with my Pro-cal...
My last phase is getting the spare on, so pics will be coming soon. Too dark to get any last night when I finished, and My Jeep is totally sloched because we have had slush for a couple of days- can't hardly tell what color it is!
So if I get off the computer and go to work I might get it finished!

As to the first questions let me answer the ones I can...
So here are the questions:
1. How much lift did you really get after installing the lift?
2. How does it ride (please let me know which shocks you are using)?
3. How long have you had the lift and how is it holding up?
4. How well does it flex?
5. Would you buy the kit again?
6. How difficult was the install?
7. Do you have a picture? What size tire did you put under it?
1.- 4 inches almost perfect, too close to tell if it's not.
2.- Ride is slightly stiffer then stock using the adjustable shocks set on 3 ( Rancho RS9000 series). Bigger bumps are smoother than before.
3. 2 days- holding up fine!
4. Gained some pretty good flex in the shop moving things around, trail is yet to be tested.
5. I got the kit for 417 with free shipping!! AT that price I would !!!
6. Install was a 6 on a scale of 10... the pitman arm being one of the hardest parts about it.
7. Pics in post above... 315,16,75 duratracs... great tire!

Thanks for the tips, guys. I adjusted the hell out of the drag link and got it drivable, then took it down to the alignment shop to make them do the rest of the work.
Anyways, here she is after getting all washed up:

Looking good, Hollywood!
How are you liking the way it drives? Worse than stock, as good as stock, better than stock. I'm curious, because mine drives as good as if not better than stock.
Right now, it is definitely a rougher ride than stock. I need to play with the shock adjustment settings to see if I can get a smoother ride out of it. I thought I put it at the softest setting, but after many hours installing the kit I might have been tired and confused.
My wife drives an expedition and it is comparable save for the fact that her wheel base is a bit longer and that helps with the bigger bumps.
Enjoy.
I just wheeled my rig for the first time since installing my Rancho 4" Sport Lift. I still am VERY pleased with this lift. The trip was over some pretty mild trails initially, with some more adventurous play time in a limestone creek bed. I had absolutely no problems with the alleged "rock magnet" drop brackets. The poor flexing I've heard about didn't seem to be a problem either. I'm sure I'll be pushing the limits a bit more in the future, but I'm still a happy camper at this point.
Here are a few poser pics for your viewing pleasure.

OK so I wheeled the heck out of my rig this weekend at a place called Canyons Off Road Park. I had no problems with my lift at all. There was a good mix of mud, water, trees/logs, and some formidable limestone obstacles. Some of these obstacles were easily rated 3 & 4 out of 5. I didn't catch one drop bracket on anything. I'm sure there are obstacles that could catch one of them, but that would be rare.
So, I'm 100% behind this lift for anybody wanting a 4" lift for a DD that can wheel pretty hard too. There are no doubt 4" lifts that are better, but for a complete lift costing only $1000, there aren't many.
