Default Why Line-x the interior of the roof?

Newbie here...I can understand Line-xing the interior (replacing the carpet) but why the inside of the roof?

Well originally we did it for aesthetics, changing the roof from the creamy white to a rugged black look... (it matched the interior pretty nice) but after seeing a few hard tops with cracks on the inside near the mounting points... the LINE-X will help with making the top more durable.

(this is what we were trying to prevent)

Heck of a build!! Interested to see how it turns out!! Digging the TRV Shield. Wonder if it'll be available as a decal for sale?
