Exclamation UPDATED: (SoCal) Rowher Flats run this Saturday 2/3!!

Believe it or not, Eddie (wayoflife) has finally picked up his JK!

In celebration, we are organizing an easy run through the Rowher Flats area in the Angeles National Forest . The run will be this Saturday, 2/3 at 9:00 AM. For those who are interested, we will be eating breakfast at the Halfway House at 8:00 AM.

The Rowher Flats OHV area is located between Bouquet Canyon Road and the Sierra Hwy., just off 14 near Santa Clarita.

We will meet at the Half Way House Cafe (8:00 am breakfast, 9:00 am run).

15564 Sierra Hwy
Santa Clarita, CA 91390

N 34° 27.949
W 118° 24.312

At 9am, we'll head about 3 miles north to the entrance and follow an easy route, mostly along Sierra Pelona Road, through the area to Bouquet Canyon. There are some fun and more challenging spurs up at the top for anyone who wants some extra excitement Note: Since this is National Forest land, anyone who intends to leave their Jeep parked needs an Adventure Pass. (You don't need one if you don't plan to leave your Jeep!)

More details to follow- but in the meantime, who's interested in joining us??

Tried to get the wife to go (in our QX4), and she said, "Honey, we don't have a jeep".

Looks like I have a production date of Feb. 22, so I'm just a few weeks behind you guys.

Have a great time, and I look forward to the pics.

Question So, who's coming?

Anyone in a high clearance vehicle is welcome-- not just JKs or Jeeps

The main route we are following is extremely easy (probably drivable in regular passenger cars, but not recommended). There are some side spurs that will require a more capable vehicle, but they always hook back up with the main route so those who wish to can bypass them.

This is an easy, family friendly run just to give us all a chance to meet and have a little fun. Anyone interested in joining us??

It looks like i may go after all. However due to time restraints I will be heading up with EDM95001 at the "Butt crack of dawn". and we'll have to leave early. We'll try to meet up with you guys at some point.

If anyone else wants to go up early also, just let me know and we can hook up also......
