Default Flowmaster Super 44

Had my Flowmaster Super 44 installed yesterday in the relocation location…………..

Low mellow, but aggressive tone. Sounds more like a muscle car than a tuner……………
Great upon acceleration through the first 3 gears. Settles in at cruising speeds / RPM’s.

I was prepared to accept a much louder sound than what I ended up with. Can not imagine anybody finding this set up too loud.

Happy customer!

I love the flowmaster super 44 sound as well. At first I went with the magnaflow exhaust, but when you really get on the pedal, it has a slight buzz noise (at least on mine, no leaks or anything) took it back to the exhaust shop and they were nice enough to exchange it for flowmaster muffler with out charge, and it had a much deeper sound, although the actual db of the mufflers are almost the same, with the magnaflow being a bit quieter especially on the highway. just my 2 cents!

Got this done yesterday. Ordered a MagnaFlow Muffler 6" Round 18" Body 2.5" C/C 12646 P/N12646 and had it installed. Pics and before and after audio below. I don't remember who posted it here in this forum but I used the same Magnaflow p/n he did. Thanks I really like the sound and it feels a little more responsive on the lower end.

I have the Volant CAI in the garage...just waiting for the VOLANT EXHAUST before I install both. The price is a little steep for the exhaust so it will be sometime in March. I will post results for both after the install.

I too am anxious to know what others think of the Volant exhaust....

Guys can this MOD be done from home with clamps? Is there a downside to not having it welded?

Just wondering. I moved mine to the new location, but I still have to secure it a little better........

Exactly I'm gonna take it out of the old location and cut it down to fit were the new muffler is located. I'll have pictures tommorrow!

Madrishman, thanks for the sound clips. That sounds awesome. Any louder resonance on highway or cruising? It doesn't sound much louder than stock, but is definately deeper. Good choice.
