Smile Rugged Ridge XHD stubby

My RRC tubes are not here yet, but here are pic of the winch mount stubby that I installed this morning.
took about an hour, including factory bumper removal.
Everything fit perfect, I am very happy with it

Does RR make a skid plate that goes with the XHD base to protect the sway bar disconnect motor?

Is that a powdercoat finish? Is there a choice of finishes?

Lucky, mine is supposed to be here on Monday, how was the install? I got the stinger tube with mine, which should arrive with the bumper.

The install was super easy, about an hour start to finish. the toughest part was getting the wiring harness loose from the factory bumper.
The finish is textured black powder coat. I am not aware of any other finish.
I have not seen a front skid plkate yet, bot I hope they come out with it soon

I definitely will. Depending on time, I will try to do a little mini-write up to show how the install went. But, alas, I am ambitious ...all depends on when I get the bumper on and how much work I have to do for my job

Just got an e-mail from an engineer at Omix-Ada
they are working on skid plates, one for electric discos and one for all others. may be combined into one unit. depends on how the R&D goes

I really like the looks/options of this bumper. Seems to be about the best deal out there. Can anyone tell me if they know more of the specs of the bumper such as the steel thickness? Also, what does the backside look like. Is is recessed, or flat? Thanks for any input.

x2. It looks like it's a LOT grainier than in quadratec's pics.

Is it just the camera? Or is it really that textured?
