first time out
here's a few of its first time out with lift and tires. It was definetly pretty stupid to go camping this time of year in Fl. We wont be doing that again for a few months. i never stopped sweating the entire night. Still fun though just to be out with the guys. Not too many places with rocks around here, had to settle for some washouts. You can tell my long wheelbase just loved them.
Just a little push and I slide right off. Gonna need to get a 1" body or get some different flares. Rubbed the fronts all day when stuffed and with the wheel turned. But overall I am very happy with the lift and especially the tires.

yeah it was a good time. there are a few places i want to try it out at but i am not sure the trail are wide enough. I had a tough time getting my yj through them. I will probably try them out and just get a free pin-striping. It is a litte tough getting used to the length of this beast. I got embarrased more than i care for by getting high centered on things.
to raise the rear bumper up all i will have to do is drill two holes in the frame to raise the bracket up. i have seen a few people on here do it. but i may end up doing what this guy did.

I dont want to keep rubbing them like i did. they seem to be pretty loose now. the plastic clips must have gotten damaged or something.

i think i would have no problem doing it, its just convincing my wife. she never cared that i cut up my yj, but she always says "this one is brand new, why dont you leave it alone?"
We lived in Florida for 4 years during my DH's Navy days. This was pre-Jeep time. I'm surprised you found such a neat place to wheel. Great pics! Proves you don't need rocks to have a fun time.
