also what's the deal with swapping/taking off your oil pan?????
I don't have any pics of the driveshafts, but I'd be happy to take some.

The oil pan I swapped out after smashing it in while playing on the rocks.

It might I'm holding out hope.

Thanks all for the kind words - goes without saying that I'm pleased with the look. Now if I can just get her aligned right I'll be all set.

I've received several PMs since reviving this thread regarding the ride quality..

Obviously by taking a SWB jeep and pushing it up in the air 4-6 inches (including tires), upgrading driveshafts, trackbars, drag link, and wheels/tires, and adjusting all the arms to different lengths than stock -- well needless to say it feels completely different. It's taking quite a bit of time to get things dialed in just so, but that's because I'm doing it myself.

People keep asking how it compares to stock - well it doesn't compare. It ain't even the same league, ball park, you get the metaphor. But this suspension isn't made for a lexus, it's made for a jeep. It drives like a jeep now, which is to say, loose and bouncy. It takes time to get used to it.
