What New size tire for Stock JK on 17x9 Mamba wheels?
I currently have Goodyear Wrangler 265/70 on 17x9 Mamba wheels 4.5" [-12]. Tread on the Wranglers is almost gone. Need new rubber, and I like the Mickey Thompson Deegans.
What size should I run at stock ride height? If it helps, I do 70% on road and 30% off, but the 30% off is muddy farm trails/off camber stuff. I'm rarely, if ever at full articulation.
265/70/17 - current size, these obviously fit! Around 11" wide.https://sarkariresult.onl/ Mobdro https://pnrstatus.vip/
285/70/17 - these tires are 11" wide but about 1" taller than the 265/70/17's. Would they rub often, or just close to full articulation? Would I need a small lift (e.g., a 1-2" boost) for this to work well?
295/70/17 - same question above
305/65/17 - these tires are 12" wide - would having a small lift help here? What about with the 4.5" offset? Would I need 1-1.5” spacers to prevent rubbing? Wondering how far these would stick out past the fenders. I would guess around 1-1.5” ....
I prefer narrower tires but hear a wider stance is good on JK’s. If it helps, the MT Deegans are slightly narrower than normal.
