Default ebrake rubber handle
Weird question but has anyone ever removed the rubber coating on the parking brake handle? I want to remove it and wrap it in paracord. It looks like the only way to get it off is to slice it down the middle and pull it off so I want to know what the metal handle is like first. Is it really skinny or sharp for example?

For anyone who might be curious, its sharp jagged metal underneath the rubber handle grip.
