Default fuel oil refresh mode

my new 4xe has been in fuel oil refresh mode for almost the whole time i've had it (4000 miles)
suggestions anyone?.....thanksl

And thrash it occassionally. What I mean by that is make it sound like a connecting rod is going to fly out of the block and hold it for 10-20 seconds like that. It will go back to fun mode then after cool down then cold start. They call that the Italian tuneup. They always run better after a good thrashing.

Making sure the engine is fully warmed up before doing this procedure, of course.
