How To Easily Remove Doors
Vehicle: 2007 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 2-Door
Need some advice on how to make it easier to remove my half doors.
In July 2022, I installed the "Delrin Replacement Door Hinge Bushings" thinking this would make the doors somewhat easier to remove.
I don't remember if it helped shortly after they were installed, but now 4 years later that doors are extremely hard to remove Probably as hard to remove as they were before installing the replacement bushings).
I normally rotate the doors back and forth applying upward pressure to help take them off.
While the driver's door is somewhat easier, the passenger door (which doesn't get much use) is extremely hard to remove - typically taking at least 15 minutes to remove.
Is there anything I can do once I get the doors off to make them easier to remove?
Thanks.

Can't imagine it taking 15 minutes to remove 1 door. I just use regular ole grease.....like whatever I'm greasing my steering components with......just spread a little on the pins with my finger.
While my Jeep is a 2007, it doesn't get that much use - especially the passenger door - so even the driver's door is hard, but seems to take less time. Not only does it sometime sets for several days - I'm retired. I'm normally the only on inside.
I have some emery cloth (paper?) 120 grit and thinking next time I get both doors off, I'll use that to clean the pins.
Not sure I have any grease (I live in an apartment complex so can't do muck work on it - even inside my very small garage).
Am thinking about using powdered graphic. Is that a good thing to make them easier to remove?
I have friends that use graphite for a lot of different things. Oddly, I've never had real success with it myself. It certainly can't hurt, though if I was going to use something in a can, I'd likely just opt for some Fluid Film as that stuff is always useful to have around and it's really no messier than graphite IMO. I always end up getting that graphite spray on my hands. Whatever is easiest and cheapest to pick up.
