Default Will Mopar off-road bumper cause front to sag?

Thinking of installing the mopar off-road bumper W/O winch (model #82211716AB) and possibly the matching rear bumper as well and no other changes...will this cause it to drop a bit or can the stock handle?

I cannot tell you about the non-winch version.

However, mine sagged a little with a winch and was easily corrected with a pair of 3/4" front coil spacers. Took care of the problem.

I use to have the mopar front bumper w/out winch; replaced it with a custom stubby.

Mopar front w/ Mopar rear you will get roughly a 1/4" sag up front. W/out the rear you will be looking at 1/2" or a little more sag I would assume.

The answer is yes it will cause the front to sag. You can always pack a 1/2" or 3/4" spacer on top of the front springs to bring the front back up.

Yes, it will cause the front of your Jeep to sag. This is (of course) the perfect justification for installing a coil lift

Wouldn't you be taking the stock bumper off though? That weighs about 37lb, so the additional front end weight would be closer to 40lb than 80lb.

The stock bumper weighs like only 25 or so pounds. I would imagine the Mopar bumper will make the front sag like a foe-humdred pound fat woman.

I would imagine that any bumper heavier than the one you replace will make it sag.

Yes, it is heavy! Try a stubby or mid-width for less weight.
