Jeep Wheel / Lift Question
Can someone provide me some technical information?
I have a 2008 Rubicon with a 4" lift and 35" tires. If I wanted to upgrade to
37" tires, would I need a bigger lift? Also, if I did upgrade to 37's would I need to regear/etc. I am unsure what that actually entails, but have read b/f that anything over 35" would require a regearing???
Any info would be appreciated.

Before the flames ignite, you may want to read the FAQ:

And do a quick search and read; then post the specifics of your JK and a more specific question.

Chop your fenders and slap those 37's on.
Re-gearing is not 'required' for any particular tire size, but it sure is recommended by pretty much everyone. It is a debated topic with varying opinions, but either 5.13's or 5.38's are what you'll want to look at. (generally $1200-$1500 parts/labor/out the door)
You'll also want to look into strengthening the front D44. Gussets at the very least, but chomo shafts would probably be a good investment. You might also want to check some of the threads on new driveshafts.

as far as gears go, with 37's, 5.13's will help restore your power back to stock.
