Question Coil spacers to clear 33" tires

Currently having 32" on the jeep on stock suspension; I wonder how much spacing would be needed to clear 33 inchers.

Correct me if I am wrong but ( 1 inch extra diameter ) /2 = 1/2" needed in the fenders.

I am thinking about installing 3/4" spacers on the rear springs and 1" spacers in the front.
Anything I am not taking into account?

You might not actually need any lift at all to clear 33's, I'm not 100% sure but I think you can still clear even when flexed...

Either way, this leveling kit from Teraflex would probably be your best bet.....$129.99

I would encourage you consider something like the Daystar kit as an option. I believe it is 1.75" in the front and either .75" or 1.0" in the back. This will eliminate the factory rake and the Jeep will sit level. The truth is there are plenty of people on this site that are running 33's with little to no lift. I ran the 1.75 in the front for a while and the stance is great for 33's, I just wanted more clearance and opted for the Teraflex 2.5" coil kit.

Good luck!

Another option to consider would be a 1" Body lift to clear the 33s...Below are pics of my JK with a 1" BL and a 1" teraflex front coil spacer (used to eliminate the front rake). In the future if you ever wanted to upgrade to 35s all you would need is a suspension lift...

You don't need any lift.

I have a 2.25 spacer in the front and nothing in the rear and clear 33's. 33x13.5 ltb's on 16x10 with 3.8 offset.

The rear tires did rub a little at full flex, but that was do to my choice of wheels
+ tires. Jeep looks realy wide

They will fit with no lift, but rub like crazy offroad.

I have the Tera-Flex leveling kit (2" front, 1" back) with 32's and I know I could fit 33's. They may still get close to rubbing offroad, but Tera-Flex claims you can run 34's with it. So I think 33's would be great with it.

You shouldnt need any lift to clear that size tire, but you can get a 3/4 inch daystar spacer lift for about 40 bucks, that will give you a little more room for flex!

You are absolutely right.

If you keep it on the road you will never need a lift. Flex much at all off road and you will think your fenders are going to tear off.

This is experience speaking...

I am running the tera leveling kit on my 09 2door with 305 70r 16 KM2's. I love the look and has plenty of room to stuff the tires offroad.
