Default Adding trans oil after cooler install

I added a trans cooler last night (the same one in the main write-up). After buttoning everything up and checking for leaks, I let the trans heat up, took a quick drive around and then checked the fluid level. It was right in the middle right where it needed to be. Thought this was strange so I took a longer drive the next day and then checked. Same spot. I checked a couple more times after running around town and still no drop. Does this seem right? The only thing I am thonknof was the the trans was running a little extra fluid before the install (would have beeb this way from the factory since I haven't touched it since purchase).

Are you following the procedure for measuring the level correctly?

I added about 3/4 of a quart after I installed mine.

Most of the time when stock, they register towards or at the top of the range. I always run as much fluid as possible without overfilling, because there's more in the system for cooling.

It's right in the middle now. I have had experience with overfilling in the past on oldr jeeps and don't want to deal with that here. I know i checked correctly. I did in both park and neutral. Same reading. I guess if it aint broke..
