Default Pure Jeep Rocker Install Help

Well I decided to take the plunge and begin installing the Pure Jeep rockers on my Unlimited Rubicon. I have read about every post with regards to installing them but have run into a problem lining them up. Right now I am doing the passenger side. I loosely installed the 3 bolts on the bottom. The problem that I have run into is that that when I line them up using a jack the font ends up being flush while the rear section is about 1/4 inch from the sheet metal at the rear of the jeep. It appears as if the center portion of the rocker guard that hits the pillar between the front and rear doors is stopping the rear section from flushing up. Is this normal when you are initially lining it up? When you install the bolts will it cam it in so that the rear section is flush?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I had the same problem when installing. When you torque them down they will become flush. It doesn't seem as if they will bend but they do!

These are the wrong rocker guards

I ordered the ones that bolt to the side of the jeep below the doors

Ah ha! Thank you for this little tidbit of info. I've been freaking out cause i can't get the rocker to line up flush with the body. Good to hear it fits when you tighten it. If i had seen this earlier i would have finished this today and not wasted so much time trying different ways of lining it up. Thanks!
