cam bolts are used to move the stock control arms a small amount to correct geometry issues. They only allow for a very small amount of adjustment, and are known to move even during normal highway operation. In a vehicle like a jeep that is used in an offroad setting the problems are even more common. Adjustable control arms offer a greater range of adjustment, and do not lose their setting like cam bolts do. With adjustable control arms you would be able to fine tune your suspension geometry for changes in ride height, or pinion angles for driveshafts, etc.

IMHO, a great way to start with a lift like that is to get adjustable front lower control arms, and adjustable rear uppers. That way you can adjust the caster in the front and the pinion angle on your rear drive shaft.

in the rear you should be fine with just a brake line drop bracket, but in the front you should look at getting some extended brake lines. If your Jeep is not a rubicon then it would be a good time to add swaybar disconnects. I think that kit is one that has you relocate the rear sway bar links to the front and they supply new rears.

I have the old man Emu long travel shocks on my Teraflex 3". They are a great shock IMO. They are a little more money than some, but are known for their smooth ride and long life.

JKS Quicker Disco's and the TeraFlex disco's seem to be the more popular ones. The JKS's have 2 pins each, and are completely removed and stored when disconnected. The TeraFlex have one pin, and you simply turn the links up and connect to a mounting location.

I haven't seen any posts on this kit, do you know what the 'actual' lift height is? If it's like some of the other kits, somewhere in the 4-5 inch range would not be out of line. (so be prepared)

Is the front track bar fixed or adjustable?

Have you thought about re-gearing for the taller tires?

New brake lines all around wouldn't be a bad thing at that height. Or there are several threads on making your own extension brackets if you need more length in just the front. (since the kit comes with the rear brackets.)

And X2 on considering adjustable arms over the cam bolts.

and won't need to cut out the holes on your LCA axle brackets.
If you do decide on the cams, be aware of this bit. If you have any problems with them, or decide to go to adjustable arms, or back to just the stock arms, you will have to have those holes welded back up...

Teraflex. I like the way that they pin the swaybar up and out of the way. They come with little brackets that you bolt to the body bolts in the very front of the Jeep using existing hardware. The brackets have pins on them that the links attach to. It is great not having to mess with bungy chords or zip ties.
