Default My Radiator has seen better days

I was washing my JK and noticed the radiator has a lot of dents from bugs and road debris. I have not been a big fan of grill inserts but the condition of the radiator has me thinking. Do I need to worry about all the radiator dents or is it OK?

You could sneeze on those fins and they bend, I just keep an eye on mine for leaks. Grill mod is not a bad idea though.

I have been debating to go with Rampage Products 3D Grille for just over $100, or do a DIY. So far I can't find any pics of the Rampage Grille other than marketing pics. Anybody out there have love for Rampage?

If the dents are excessive, they can lead to an overheating engine. Each time you get a dent, you close up some air travel for the radiator. You can get a fin comb from most any good radiator shop and get them out yourself. Then you might think about the grill inserts.

Thanks for the thread! I have been looking at the great DIY jobs for some time. However, I did not see any Rampage grills in the thread and that's my problem, no Rampage grill pics anywhere. I am trying to decide if I can do a better job than Rapage and without any pics it's hard to tell.

I went with the Rugged Ridge.
I did not like the idea of a stone going through it on the highway
