Default Need help with lift and tire size vs garage opening

I need some help here with how big of a lift and how big of tires I can get away with and still get the Jeep in the garage.

I can go 82" and still clear.

Here is kind of what I am thinking, OME lift, flat fenders, 35" or 37" tires. ( Will 37" fit with the OME? )

We have the dual top group.

Here is what she looks like now.

Which OME coils?

The HD's will give somewhere close to 3.5" on your 4door. Maybe 3.25" if you start adding armor/winch. Figure another 2.5" for 37's.

3.5 + 2.5 = ?

So if ? + your current height < 82", you're good.

(I know, I had to get all mathematical and scientifical about it...)

I have a 4" Teraflex lift with 37's and it fits just fine in my 7'-0" garage.

That TF 4" kit is reported to give 5-6 inches of lift.

Make sure you're comparing the same things...

With flat fenders and bumpstops, yes. If you are disconnecting, you might need some additional bumpstop.

I have OME HD's + 3/4" spacers ( appx 4" of lift up front ) and still rub my 34's on the stock upper fender when disconnected. I'll trim the fenders rather than add more bumpstop.

37s and 3-4" lift will give plenty of clearance for 82inches of garage height. My JK is 77" to the soft-top bow on 35s with TF 2.5" coil lift.
