Hi.
Since i have 35" tires and 10" wide rims i have to get wider fenders(by law).
And since the exchange rate between usd and isk really sucks now i dont want to order some flares.
So my question is, if i cut my flares can i use fiberglass to fill the gap, i.e. will the fiberglass get stuck to the plastic in the orginal flares??
Regards from Iceland

I'm not familiar with the laws in your neck of the woods, why do you need to widen the flares? Is it to have the whole tire covered? Or is it a side marker light requirement?
Here in Virginia the law is that you need to have side marker lights that show the width of the vehicle. You widen the stance with wider tires, you need to mark accodingly. A lot of people are using small marker lights on a metal tab that sticks out on the fender.

You might look into rubber flare extensions. Looks like 40 to 50 USD$ for 1.75 or 3"

I know that Bestop has some stick on flare covers that come out about 1.5" wider than the stock flares for about half the price of the Bushwacker flares.
