Consider regearing as well if you have less than 4.10s.

regear is a must if you an auto. Any of the top manufacturers make a good product, 3 to 4 inch is perfect for 35s.

Ok thank you. the jeep I am ordering is going to have the six speed manual in it. they told me I go not get the upgraded 3.73 because the six speed has two more gears then the 4speed auto. Ok so I will also regear. thank you.

get 4.10's from the dealer for sure. that way a re-gear isn't top priority like it is for guys with 3.21's and 3.73

I agree w/ BBirish - I love my KM2's. The Kevlar MTRs & Toyos are always favs on this board as well.

will a TF 4" be too much for just 35's? it can clear up to 37's according to TF site.

I'm just curious bc (hijack!!!) I've been daydreamibng about a new lift at some point for a little more height & clearance but I was torn between the TF 3" & 4". 3" didn't seem like it would be that much different from my OME & a 4" might have too much wheel well space(?)

but a 4" would allow for future 37's.

With the 6spd it won't be as important to do it right away you can select over drive and will get the best mileage you can, there will be a lack of power to pass is all and you will have to down shift to 4th gear.

As was mentioned above, a 4" lift may be a bit much for 35's. (people are reporting 'actual' height gains in the 5-6" range with the TF 4" kit) But personal preference plays into it, so just do a little research on whichever kit you decide on to make sure the height you get is the height you want.

And if you do end up with a 4" and 37's, be sure to strengthen that front D30.

I have the 3" Ultimate from Full Traction with 35's, works great. I did have to trim the stock rock rails though, since they protrude into the rear wheel well. (Mine's an '07)
