Has anyone tried a throttle body spacer? Is it worth the $100?

 

No.............

 

I did mine a week ago...Along with the Airaid intake,Superchips and
MBRP exhaust...Absolutely a big difference...They claim that it helps
i say it can't hurt...

Spacers work on carbs because the fuel/air mixture is done right after the carb. Fuel injection/throttle bodies do not benefit NEARLY as much as carbs. And it is a very basic give and take. It lets a minimal amount of air extra past the throttle body to help line the air up into the manifold. In my head that equates to a lick more low end, and a lick less in the top end. ....we're not talkin much

 

......or you could re-gear.. for about the same amount of money

 

Has anyone done a dyno before and after a throttle body spacer on a JK?
I could see it on a carburetor, but where the fuel is injected so far down the line, (just ahead of the intake valves), I don't see what it would do to improve things.

 

I want to re-gear... I have the 4.10 auto waiting on my 35" nitto trail grapplers but I'm worried what that will do to my warranty...

 

you'll lose the warranty of the axles..

 

Yeah I spent a good chunk on the extended... who has exhaust? Brand, opinions?
