Over the labor day weekend I fitted up my 2-dr with some of the wider Xenon fenders. The JK is still running stock (rubi) suspension and wheels tires so the fenders are the first step towards a lift and 35"s.

Here's the question. I love the "flat" profile and I spent an age modifying the fender liner. I'm happy with the work but not happy with the way the plastic finish looks. This isn't a knock on the product which is great - it just isn't working for me.

I don't want a painted finish (need some durability for the occasional light hit) so am rethinking going to steel tube fenders with a powdercoat finish.

I'd really like to have the flares that I end up cover 35" tires when I get them and I'd like to have some sort of side marker to keep road legal.

My final wheel size will likely be 9"x17" (unless someone gives me good advise to a better size) and I'm looking ultimately at 12.5x35 tires.

I think the options are:

1. Evo
2. River Raider
3. M.O.R.E.

I'm starting to lean more towards M.O.R.E. for the finish and the side markers.

The EVO look is too hardcore a look for me at the moment (it's still my daily driver)

I don't think the river raider have side markers ??

If I go with the M.O.R.E flares, will they cover a fairly typical 35" set-up?

Anyone else like to throw in any more suggestions to consider?
