Question Rear bumper w/ tire carrier (LoD vs Shockworks)

Could those running these bumpers on their rigs post their thoughts. I have an ARB front and want to switch out the rear bumper. The weight of rear tire has me concerned, and I also like the idea of getting a back-up light built-into the bumper.

I'm leaning more towards the shockworks since it incorporate the lift-jack and antenna and seems to have a design similar to the ARB. However does the Shockworks bumper come with a relo. kit for the plate?

Many thanks!!!

LoD

I just want to point out the wait time for the Shrockworks products. I say this not to discourage you from them, but rather to prevent you from complaining six months from now. I ordered my Shrockworks in early April and am still waiting for it. Someone just posted in the past couple weeks that their March order was delivered. So, I hope to receive mine any day now. I knew in advance about the long wait, and I'm okay with it. Many folks aren't, so they should look elsewhere. Also: Shrockworks charges your credit card the day you place the order.

BTW: I didn't order a separate license plate relocation kit, and when I met with Jim (at EJS) he knew I wanted the entire kitt'n-kaboodle. So, I believe it's included.

LoD because I have one. 6wk wait when I ordered from Northridge, not bad. As for the HiLift mine bolted right to my tire carrier, as for the cb antenna, you have a drill right, wasn't a big deal at all. As for fit and finish I can't imagine getting any better.

Good luck I think you'll be very pleased with either company. I am ordering a SW for my Xterrra.

If you get the lOd, get the stubby.

When I get the funds I will be going LoD. Their style fits the JK and I hate waiting more than a few weeks.

I would try to get a stubby version of either rather than their full-width style. I think the LOD looks better in regards to the lights (round vs 80's style rectangular). Though the Shrockworks has a better tire carrier design in my opinion. Both are equal in the fact that they are bumpers that can carry a tire.

And it is 'Shrockworks' with an 'R', not 'Shockworks'

LOD.

Not a fan of paying up front for a product you may not see until 2012.

I have the LoD... the hilift mounts on top and the CD antenna you can just drill... I already had the teraflex CB mount, so I went that way...
