MBRP SS Catback Exhaust System
Installed this system yesterday, my stock muffler looked like absolute garbage, this one is SS and IMO it sounds better than any other on the market so thats why I went with it.
Install was super easy, no problems with anything rubbing, didnt have to use bigger washers to put the skid back on or anything like that, it fit like a glove. This system is top notch quality and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to install a catback system. The biggest PITA was getting the OEM exhaust off, the rubber hangers need to be SOAKED in WD-40 and even then you may have to use quite a bit of force to get them off. The clamp on the y-pipe was turned so that the nut was facing upwards and was seized so bad that I couldnt get it off with a wrench even after soaking it in WD-40 so I ended up cutting it with a grinder and bending it. Overall i'm pretty impressed with this system, real nice throaty growl and absolutely no drone when you get off the gas or just cruise along on the highway. Did it improve anything power wise? The jury is still out on that, the butt dyno says there is a little more kick in the low end when you step on it and around 2500 - 3200 rpm it feels like there is a bit more power there as well. Big shout out to MBRP for building a quality product, top notch guys
and to Northridge4x4.ca for a really sweet deal on the system. Dave and Stan you guys are awesome and I dont know how you can offer such low prices but anything else I decide to add to my jeep from here on in I will buy from you guys.

Anyone else have any pics of there MBRP exhaust. I was thinking about going with the Cat back as well, just with the black finish! And Adam, it looks slick man, what are your thoughts about it now? Still liking it?

DId u take off negative battery terminal before installing the exhuast?.. I heard couple people say to do this so you it will read it and adjust the computer?
No man its a cat back exhaust, its not gonna make any difference what so ever disconnecting the battery. You arent messing with any part of the actual emissions system, just bolting on some new pipe and different muffler nothing for the computer to re-learn or adapt to.
