wondering if anybody has put it under the hood or in the back some where

I think I seen were someone put it in the little trunk space in the back.

You've probably already looked into it, but if not, the benchmark designs skid plate is really, really solid...

thats a good idea as i'm going to be making a custom rear box/organizer/ tonneau cover and that space will be useless. but now it has a use. and with it relocated i can put a muffler ahead of the rear axle

yah i got a skid but there's no room for a muffler ahead of the rear axle

Exactly what I was thinking while reading this, I may have to relocate to that rear compartment as well, I have stuff in it but honestly havent opened it in months.

jeeps need as much storage as possible and its nice they thought of it but you have to take all your shit out to get to it. i'm definatly doing this now that i slep on in
