Rock Hard Oil Pan Skid Q
I'm looking into getting this,
http://northridge4x4.com/proddetail.php?prod=RH-6003.
The question I have is on the "...stock drivelines to clear this skid at 40in of flex."
That # in and of itself isnt telling me anything. Is that a good amount of flex, is it not? Is it the same as stock, more, less?
Thx in advance!

This was one of the reasons I decided to do a full replacement pan instead of a skid. Doesn't sacrifice any clearance, doesn't weigh a ton, and costs less than most skids.

I am not much help, hope it gives more clearance for the factory driveshaft. I already knocked off my metal clamp on the boot. Not sure if the clamp hit the Auto tranny pan, or the factory cross brace and skid plate.

Going to use a zip ty on the boot for now.

I have one, it's a great plate in my opinion. Still an easy oil change and no way will the shaft have a problem with it. Very beefy brackets up around the oil pan that attach right to the motor mount. That amount of flex is a lot, much more than stock can do. I have 3.5 inches of lift and no issues with the skid plate at full flex disconnected.
