Default Wheel Spacers causing esp problems?? with tera 2.5BB

OK so I have done a few lifts on Jks since they have come out and never used wheel spacers. But of course i finally had to, the owner of the jeep wanted to widen the stance and i ordered the spidertacks spacers...

Anyway, they drove the jeep without the spacers for a day or two with no problems, but once i put the spacers on BAM!!! now the esp is coming on ALL THE TIME!!!

I dont know what to do or what is causing it.

Can wheel spacers actually cause this type of problem?

Any ideas on what to do.... I souldnt need an allighnment... I only put a 2.5 BB from Teraflex on it

Im lost... Someone help me

I cannot see what wheel spacers would have to do with the ESP coming on. I ran the TF BB for a year and a half with Spidertrax wheel spacers, the ESP light never came on once. Is the steering wheel centered still? That being off could be the problem.

I installed 1.5" wheel spacers on my JK without any issues. You said it didn't happen before you added them, do you feel any vibration in the steering wheel. Try taking them off, and re-torquing, is the steering wheel straight, the drag-link tight? Good luck.

The steering must be very centered, if not, the ESP light will be on.

I ran with 1.5" spacers for about 3,000 miles. Never had ESP problems. I did recenter my wheel after installing my 2.5" BB lift...

x2 Take off the wheel spacers, re-install the wheels w/out them and see if the ESP light turns off...Dont see how that would cause it though...Best of luck...

The only suspension modification I've had done is my 1.5" wheel spacers and I have this same problem. Comes on during braking around cloverleaf off ramps. The spacers are torqued to spec but still happens.

That's my vote. I'm wondering if the extra 1.5" added to the wheels is just enough to cause the ESP light to show up in a situation that is borderline without them.

I had the ESP kicking in after i put my 2.5 BB on, got a 4 wheel alignment done and have not seen it since. Could have damaged one of the sensors putting the lift on you have to push the axle out pretty far to get the coils back in with the coil spacers.

Check that all the little clips that were on stock, get taken off. otherwose the wheels won't be sitting flush.

Or there is the wheel speed sensor, hopefully that didn't get banged during install.

or???
