Default Spacer lift kit questions

I am looking to put a 2'' or so lift on my JK sahara 4dr. I currently have 31'' factory tires but will go to 33'' when I can.

Question:
Do I need to go with a spacer kit that includes new shocks like the
Skyjacker 2'' lift kit with shocks or can I just keep my factory shocks and use the kit without the shocks or the Daystar 1 3/4'' spacer kit. I am trying to stay as inexpensive as I can to save for tires. And what brands are recommended?

i have the rough country spacer kit without shocks. i just ude the shock extentions and haven't had a problem with them... not as much flex as i can get with shocks but it does the trick.

Will I have to have shock extenders if I go with a 2'' spacer kit?

x2 I have the same set up. Works great for now, until I put a few more digits in my bank account to get a spring lift.

most kist will come with either the shocks or the extensions.
i plan on running my extentions untill i add the 4dr springs, then i'll buy new shocks. that will give me a lot more flex and put me at about a 3-3.5" lift. then i can do driveshafts and anything else i need before i go BIG! i don't want to buy everything at once and this setup ( buying used) will keep me from having to and keep the stages cheap

That picture of the white 2dr is mine. It has a TF leveling kit and i bought some unlimited rubicon shocks out of the for sale section. No shock adapters or anything. Works great and looks great in my opinion. I also installed some TF quick discos makes a huge difference, even though it is mostly mud I am in down here.
