Question Steering box sounds like a pirate ship!!

Not sure why and I am sure this is a bad sign but when I turn my steering wheel particulary at slow sppeds or stopped i get a fairly loud noise that sounds like a pirate ship kind of a groaning squeeking noise, does it more when turning left. I have a 3.5 inch lift and am running stock rubi tires and wheels and a ripp super. power steering fluids all look okay and no signs of a leak or damage.

Anyone know what the noise is from and how to make it go away? or is my box dying and am i looking at a trip to the stealership.

I say just put an eye patch on and roll with it. maybe get a parrot and a pegleg. I gotta say that steering referred to as a pirate ship is pretty funny to me. I got a good chuckle reading it.

Hes busy attacking ships off the coast of Somalia.

On a serious note, if someone moves the steering wheel back and forth rapidly between ten and two with the Jeep off can you hear anything?

I started hearing that sound just shortly before my front trackbar bracket broke off of the axel. CHECK YOUR BRACKET FOR CRACKS OR SIGNS OF STRESS. Trust me, it almost broke on the highway when I had my family on board. It broke very shortly after going off-road on a dirt road, close call.
