Default Anybody regrets on the snorkel?

As the title says... anybody regrets on buying a snorkel?? I mean you could use that money in something else...

PS. I would love to have a snorkel, this thread doesn't means that I hate it, it's just that I don't know if a snorkel is a good investment

as you know, i'm getting one in a few weeks cause i believe you posted in the thread i started a few days ago about my anniversary gift. i'd say go for it i was on the fence about it too...but i would rather pay the money for it and save my engine than to completely screw myself w/ a hydrolocked one. better safe than sorry. and they look bad ace too ..so if you dont play in mucky stuff at least you have one if the situation ever arises..my .02

if you play in water then its a no brainer.

otherwise you can bump it down or off your list.

apart from the function they look pretty sweet. I have the AEV gumball dispenser which I love. this weekend @ RC I got to see some River Raiders in person and they looked great too.

I live in the desert. We always head toward water and cross rivers often but in addition to water crossings a snorkel really does keep your air intake up out of the dust. I have been on runs were I was knocking out HUGE amounts of dirt out of the air filter every night! On days like that you always try to position your self in the front of the line the next day and wish they made a cabin air filter and snorkel for your lungs. Don't really like the look but the AEV gumball machine is quickly coming up on the list.
