Default What 35s on Sahara Wheels?

Does anybody have any suggestions on what tires would be good for me to run on my stock Sahara 18" Wheels? I'm looking for 35s. It is my daily driver but I don't mind a little extra noise. I would say I split my time 60% on road and 40% out on the trails. So if anybody has any suggestions I would be interested pics wouldn't hurt either. I've seen some pics here but I just don't know enough about tires yet to know whats good and whats not, I'm fairly new too wheeling.

i like the toyo mudders quiet (for a mudder) great on the road, but sticking with 18's your going to pay for it, and you may run into backspacing issue i think wheel spacers are illegal here in pa, better off buyin after market 17's my opinion

If and only If I had not budget I would Run the 285/75/18 MT/R Kevlar's. They come out to be a 35.1x11.3

But for cheaper tires I would have to run a 17

If you don't mind the noise, go with the Nitto Mud Grappler. Hands down the coolest tire out there, and they come with free road noise.

Thanks for the comments, but I'm not planning on going with aftermarket wheels anytime soon. Also ccwbrd, who manufactures the tires you suggested?

Goodyear does. They also have a duratrac in a size close to that. I have them in a 33, very aggressive looking, an AT/MT hybrid. They are almost silent. Not too expensive (for an 18" rim anyway).

Don't forget the wheel spacers. And the lift/flats to clear them...

Depends on your budget. For the low priced tires the Hankook MT03 and the Kumho KL71 are great tires. High end tires like the Nitto Mud Grapplers and Toyo M/T also are excellent. Check out the galleries on the forum and see which you like the best and fit your budget. My favorite of all tires is the Nitto Mud Grapplers but I could only afford the Hankooks. I needed the $500 difference to go to other parts.

Thanks for all the advice guys, Already know what I'm doing as far as spacers and lift so I'm really just asking about tires. Also will I need a wheel spacer for the spare to fit it on my stock carrier and what to do about the 3rd brake light?

These are what I sit on , with 20" rims. I really like this tire when off roading with my sock Sahara JK. I do most my time on the streets and never had a problem with noise when i drive with doors and topless. I can give you a picture if you want to see mine. Just shoot me a PM.
