Default OME HD Lift Install Question

I am getting ready to install an OME HD Lift with Currie adjustable upper control arms, JKS front and rear trackbars, and adjustable sway bar links on my 2-dr Rubi in a couple of days and I wanted to check with the lift experts on here before I start. I have researched this site for hours on this very topic, and I just want to ensure I have the correct lengths on everything before I start. Please correct me if I am wrong, but from my research I have concluded that:

Upper control arms should be set at 18.5 inches eye to eye
Sway bar links should have the sway bars sitting at about 5 degrees
What would be a good starting measurement to set the trackbars at?

Are these measurements, except for the trackbars, a good starting point? I want to try to do everything right the first time so it will minimize the time I spend getting everything dialed in correctly. Thanks in advance!!!

Honestly, I never bothered with 'starting' lengths simply because there are so many variables involved. With the same coils, there could be an inch in height difference between a 4door with armor/winch/etc and a bone stock 2door, which throws off all your numbers.

Thanks, but I have read those threads multiple times (actually I have them bookmarked). I have a front bumper with a winch, and a rear bumper with a tire carrier. Was just curious how other people started out when they installed this same setup.

It was my first lift, and there wasn't a whole lot of extra info for me at the time. I just left them as they were shipped or guesstimated. Ya know, trial and error and plenty of and head scratching. But I can certainly see why you would want some good starting numbers.

For the jks track bars I started at the same length as stock. It was short about a half inch front and back. I can go measure for you if that would help, but to a previous point, it could depend on several other variables. I can also tell you they aren't too difficult to adjust after the fact. Just don't tighten the jam nut until it's right, and get a buddy to help you get the track bar back in place by pushing the jeep to either side.

Anyway, hopefully the extra 1/2 inch gives you a good starting point.

This is exactly what I was looking for, Thanks!
