Default Ten Factory shafts w/CTM joints or RCV (Longfield) shafts

Going to take the plunge and strengthen my front and rear axles and add ARB lockers. Here’s my question, I have an 07 Unlimited X with a front D30 and I’m not sure whether to get the Ten Factory axle kit and replace the U-joints with CMT joints a total of $900 or get the RCV (Longfield) CV joint shafts at $1085.

Thanks for your input

I have been thinking about the CRV cv joints, I have just not heard of many people running them.

Are they making the RCV's for a D-30 yet? Last time I checked, they were still working on it.

edit: uh, ok , they're taking pre-orders for the d-30

The negative about the CV shafts are if they break. You can't carry spares for them, while a U-jointed shaft you can carry a spare or run to a auto parts store to get a replacement. Correct me if I'm wrong, but once the CV breaks, it's not user friendly to fix.

Why couldn't you carry your stock shafts and just pop those in to get you home?
