Default Ultra Magnus Wheels

I decided to post this thread, as I have had a great many questions about my wheels and how/where I was able to get them.

Wheels were very difficult.
They were originally special order only, but were only made for a few months, then pulled from production.
Even though their display vehicle for these wheels is a JK, very few were made in that bolt pattern.
August of 08, I got the last 5 20" magnus in existence, and even then had to change bolt patterns.
Mine are a 6x5.5 bolt pattern

I went through over 30 distributors, including going straight through Ultra, to get these 5, and even had to get them from different warehouses.
Most everyone just told me it couldn't be done, and tried to sell me a different wheel.

You may have better luck with a 17" or smaller, because I only hunted 18s and 20s.

My best advice is to start calling everyone who carries ultra, and see what size and bolt pattern you can find 5 Magnus wheels in.
Keep in mind the adapter for bolt pattern change is around 2" thick...so that will need to go into your figures for backspacing.

You won't really be able to bargain shop, because you'll be lucky just to find them.
I suppose this plan will work with any wheel you are having trouble finding for your JK.

I hope this info is of some help.

Here is some more info regarding the wheel if youre looking.

The only Magnus wheels with a JK bolt pattern have a 5"BackSpace with 0 offset.

All Magnus wheels are 9" wide except for the 22s which are 9.5".

If you go with a low offset wheel, you add 3lbs per wheel.

Wheel load rating is 2200lbs.

This all applies to both the Chrome and Matte Black Magnus wheels.

UPDATE: It appears that Ultra might be making them again, since they have recently shown up on a JK in the black wheels thread.
