Question Driving with broken passenger side Sway Bar Disconnect
Anything going to happen if I drive around town with a broken passenger side factory OEM sway bar link? I've ordered new replacement pats, but they won't be here for a week.


Broke it wheeling this weekend.

People drive disconnect all the time, just take it easy when cornering. Make sure that thing doesn't get pointed in a direction where it could puncture your tire when turing.

I think I'd disconnect the other side (so that the steering and sway are similarly terrible in both directions), remove the damaged hardware and secure the other side (or remove it, too). Drive with a great deal of caution and you should be fine.

You'll be fine...you'll just have more body roll in corners, I drove this way for a couple weeks

I drove 260 miles from Moab last spring with my drivers side broken and could hardly tell it was disonnected.

I know a Jeeper who removed his front sway bar links since 2008. Still alive...

It won't hurt maybe a little extra sway in corners but I would remove the broken link so it cant bind on other suspension parts
