i have a great friend of mine from on and off of this forum that enjoys jeeps just as much as i do. but he seems to be a lot more conscious of the jeep life time power tran. warranty than i am. what the general feeling about this warranty and doing things like lifts and bigger tires and electrical work.

the modified part has to cause the failure, period
however the dealer can be an ass and dream up things to deny the warranty, even in a stock vehicle

 

Yup.
There is no real answer.
It's all subjective to decision by the dealer you take it to for repair.
