Default Weird Body Lift Install Problem

Hey everyone,

Installed the MORE 1" body lift today, all went
well except for the front two mounts, the ones where
the new OEM spacer is used in addition to the puck.

While trying to remove the factory bolt, the top part of
the OEM spacer spins It looks as tho the bolt in the
OEM spacer is surrounded by rubber which simply twists when i
try to get the nut on the underside off

i messed with this for a long time, using a longer bar
with my ratchet for leverage and doing my best to get the
bolt off but it doesn't matter cause the top part just twists
and there is nothing for me to hold onto it with so it will work

Anyone else have this problem? i haven't been able to find any mention
of it in my searches

This link is to the picture in WOLs write-up about the bolts (both sides) im having trouble with.
And the second link is the picture looking down on the top half where the rubber surrounding it
just twists

...Sorry to hear about your troubles...The bolt (inside the rubber mount) may have stripped causing it to spin...Try using an impact gun, the "impact motion" might be enough for the nut to come off...

Have you tried using a flat screwdriver or small pry bar to hold pressure on the rubber? Seems to me I had a nut on the top that had to come off,and the more kit came with two new front mounts to go with the spacer puck. I'm not with my jk now to go look. Don't remember any probs with it

Guess you could undo those other two bolts and take the whole mount out and see if that helps.

Default take 2

Take a look at your first pic, do you see how the bottom of the body mount bolt is shaped to accept a wrench? Hold that while wrenching the nut.

2" Full traction spacer lift and 1" more body lift. Sorry for crappy cell phone pic. My plan is before these tires wear out to
upgrade to the TF 2.5 Spring kit and have plenty of room to get 35s next time
