hah so i was driving out on smiths point tonight round 1030. the trail i was on got really narrow and of coarse (my luck) a dodge ram 1500 is coming my way. i pull into the woods a little and the ram tried passing me and we were ridiculously close to each other. just before he passes me he gets on the gas, slips into my rut and his bed smacks my jeep. the back left fender of my jeep got a scratched up and so did the rear bumper but no body or paint! him on the other had, his black paint got all types of screwed up!! my luck right? you know what they say, if u cant dodge it, ram it! haha

That's wack sorry to hear some people just make bad moves.

 

Was it necessary he got on the gas as he passed you pass you? I know accidental bumps can happen on the trail, from what you described, he didn't need to do what he did cause it caused him to slip into the rut.

 

no there was no need for him to goose it at the end. i mean, i want to get the bushawcker fenders that are basically the same as the stock jk fenders but thin anyways, but i dont have the money yet

 

If you happen to get bushwackers, instead of tossing your scratched rear fender let me know. I need to replace the one I tore when I 'rubbed' a tree.
