Invaluble assets if you like to crawl. Are they waterproof?

 

Yeah they are waterproof. Made to be used as fog lights/driving lights.

Write up, it's pretty self-explanatory. They already come with switches and wiring, but I didn't use any of it. I ran my own 14ga. wiring for the switches (used my own switches). I have a Painless Wiring Aux Fuse block, so I used 2 circuits out of that (15A per 2 lights). Ran everything in wire loom to look clean. Ran the front wiring through the firewall (behind side dash access panel) where I ran my other wiring for my other lighting and feed for my ARB switch (ARB compressor). On both sides of the frame (right before the bumper), there's a couple holes already there. Used nuts and washers to mount the bracket. For the rears, there's a couple studs that are mounted to the underside of the cubby hole (I relocated my muffler, so all that area is open). Used a nut on the studs and mounted the brackets to those studs. Wiring runs through the cabin (door sill) and runs along the side of the body (where the wiring runs for the tail lights). Through the grommet at the corner of the JK (also where wiring goes down for the tail lights). Remove the driver side tail light and you'll see the large cutout at the bottom of the body where you can run thw wiring to the bottom of the JK.

 

make sure you take good care of these, i got the same deal and i got like 5 months use out of them and now theres a short somehwere and im way too lazy to rewire/get a new set....

 

There's a short because of the lights or you cut a wire somewhere?

 

Looks good to have, a must for night rock crawlin. I was able to do LED for the same price on mine.
