A 3 inch lift should look pretty much the same from one company to the next but the ride and capabilities will be different. I like the OME ride myself.

Actually there seems to be alot of ride height differences between companies with many lifts. For example, I had the OME 2.5in HD lift on my 4DR and it gave me 3.5 in of lift. THat SAME kit on a 2DR was 4in of lift.

My 4in TF lift gives me 5.5 in. My buddies 3.5in lift from Rock Krawler gave him 5.5in.

It also depends on how much weight you have on the front and rear of your jeep.
Without a winch and HEAVY front bumper, I would have been closer to 4in with the 2.5 OME HD.

Just my 2 cents from my personal experience.

Are you talking about the advertised OME 2" kit? I wasn't aware they had a 3" kit. The 2" kit generally nets 3 inches or more anyway, so same thing. Northridge sells an OME long travel kit that a lot of people on here have. Wayoflife has one on his lil' Nemo Jeep with 35's if you want to see.

And a few others with the same setup......

There are new OME 3" kits listed at 4wd dot com. They have both 2 and 3 inch kits listed, in varying coil rates. Whether it is a typo, the old 2" kits with new marketing, or an actual new 3" coil, nobody seems to know yet. (but the word from folks a bit more in the know indicates there is no new 3" coil...)

And yes, WOL got some proto-type coils for his orange JK, if that is what you were referring to.

Cant remember who it was that got a Mopar 2" lift from the dealer, it was actually the same kit as a Superlift 4". Also a big difference between a Zone 3" which seems to net a true just 3" vs. something like a teraflex 3".

I remember reading in a similar thread that an Austrailian forum member commented on the Austrailian limitations on legal lift heights, and that OME had to call their kits, "2 inch" "3 inch" bcuz of the standards and limitations. I have the OME "2" w/HD coils and I'm here to tell ya, its way more than 2"-all in all, I'm about 3-3.5 easy.
