Yep, thanks to Dave at Alpha Expedition I was able to get my large Viair compresor under the hood. Looks stock sitting in there. I nice fit with a simple install.

nice, do you not worry about it getting wet or anything like that? or does it not matter? I have a viair compressor right now but i dont know if i'd feel comfortable mounting it under the mood cause of all the water/mud that gets under there.....

Because of the bracket and the location I do not see it being any kind of problem. However, I am sure there is a way. But, I have had a compressor mounted under the bed of my truck for 4 years now without a problem.

so the mud and water should not effect the compressor at all?

also what did you do with the wire clamps at the end? just wrap them up somewhere and connect to battery when you need to use it? i can't tell from the pics. thanks,

There should not be any mud getting that far up into the engine bay. If it does, it will not be on the filter side of the compressor, so I can just spray it off.

I wired the compressor to the battery. I cut off the clamps and ran the wires across the fire wall.

very clean fit, i've seen a couple compressors mounted there. Is that the only space available to put it?
