I need to know which headliner is better. The rugged ridge or hot head. I am moving to Canada and I am looking for some thing for sound and to protect against the elements. PLease help!

 

I don't know anything about the Rugged Ridge but the Hot Head is very very nice. I've had mine for about 3 months and no problems. It looks factory and really kept the heat down in the summer. Also was a nice sound insulator for the cab, made the stereo sound better.

 

Welcome to Canada! But unless you're moving to Nunavut, the JK heater is plenty good to cope with anything down to -30....then it just takes a little longer! I'd recommend you try it stock before spending $ on something you may not need. Maybe think of investing in a remote starter instead! Those come in really handy here!

 

x2 ... I actually don't know of any canadian dudes running with the hotheads headliner....they look great though. I'd invest in a seat heater before the headliner.

 

I think a block heater would be a wiser investment. I was in Fairbanks last year and it was approching -50 and the JK heater was more than adequate.

Hothead really cuts down on noise and makes stock radio decent. Not sure how much interior insulation, but does cut down hot top syndrome. Highly recommended.
