Default Broken license plate mount

So, motivated by another thread that asked about a plug for where the license plate is, I now bring this question....

Where can I get a new license plate bracket?

Mine broke off a while ago and although it is still somehow attached underneath the bumper somewhere, it flaps all around and seems like it could break loose at any time. So, where can I get a new one...or is it possible to fix this one?

It looks like the clips that hold the bracket in are still attached to the body, but the license plate bracket itself broke off of the clips. I may be able to get the broken clips out with a bit of struggle.

I saw that Warrior Products makes some sort of mount, but it requires cutting and stuff...plus I am not quite sure of the quality of it.

Or...should I relocate it? Is it a hassle to relocate it? I honestly think relocating it is a little unneccesary, but then again, I dont want to break it off again.

Help and suggestions would be great. Thanks to all...

I hit mine against a tree and broke it as well. Have you considered the ORO relocation kit? A bit pricey for a license plate holder, but it relocates ii to the spare and you can plug the hole with the plastic delete plate.

The ORO plate holder is probably the best way to go. If it was hit once it will probably be hit again.

If anyone is running the Warrior Products one, please post up on here. Even if the WP Rep can maybe post pics or something, maybe detail how hard the install is. I am curious...

I am leaning more towards the Rock Hard deal with either the AEV light or the ORO light, although I don't really need the 3rd brake light...unless I decided to nix the 3rd light bracket that I installed on my Smitty XRC.

I guess basically, I am looking for the easiest solution. I mean its a damn license plate bracket

If you want the easiest and cheapest just come up with your own. Scrap the stock holder and mount the plate somewhere else. You can get two bolts for a bumper, fashion a cheap bracket from angle iron and hose clamps to your spare, the possibilities are endless, just get creative

Remove stock bracket, ziptie it to the spare, done.
