not installed yet i will start tomorrow. factory bumper is for sale if anyone wants it. i was looking at the direction and they just suck haha is there somewhere online i can look it over
It looks like you have the updated version. The older ones do not have the "XRC" plate on the side of the bumper.
Make sure you install the 3rd brake light mount as you bolt the adjustable tire holder to the carrier, because it sandwiches between the them.
It will be much easier to install if you have a second pair of hands, these bumpers are heavy.
Good luck!

Go to the hardware and buy some extra 1/2in hole flat washers, mine was missing a bunch. Also, if your by yourself, it's easier if you rest it on the frame, then stick a floor jack under it to be able to get the middle bolts through.

I suggest you use 2 people to put the bumper on. Did it myself with a complex system of bungees I rigged up...real redneck engineering. And yea, my life flashed before my eyes at one point when I was underneath the bumper pushing up with my feet trying to thread the long ass bolt through the hole while pushing the bumper up to line up on the frame rails. It started tipping forward, I crapped my pants, saw my childhood on up, then quickly grabbed it before it landed on my head. After a bit of struggle, the rest was easy to do. Mine came with all the necessary hardware, everything lined up perfect the first time, and it has been holding up great. I even installed the third brake light bracket. Tip: if you are installing this bracket, put little pieces of rubber between the bracket and the actual tire carrier, where they sandwich together. It prevents an annoying rattle, just where the bracket bounces around. Hope all goes well with the install. Post up when completed!!
