aev 5.7 hemi swap kit
Call David at Northridge! He may be having a holiday sale, plus free shipping! I have checked around, and nobody has much of a discount on the kit. I am doing a hemi in a couple of weeks. I think I am going with the Burnsville off road kit.
Just wondering why you are going with burnnsville? I am trying decide who to use burnvysville or aev. I have done about 6 small block chevy's in CJ's and a 5.3 in a YJ. So I'm good with all the fab work but the kit idea is nice so i dont have to run all around town trying to figure out all the details. Just getting older and mybe wiser??? Any input would greatly appreciated.
It is a bit cheaper that the AEV kit. I belive the quality is the same. It doesn't come with exhaust though. I havn't decided for sure yet, but I think you can save 500 to 1000 dollars with the Burnsville kit. Plus I allready have the procal
Some manufacturer's maintain strict pricing policies and margins with their distributors, which gives companies like Northridge, 4WD and Quadratec little wiggle room on price.
Unfortunately, AEV is one of them. I *think* JKS does the same thing.
The Hemi Swap Kit is a big ticket item, so it may be a different situation, but they don't have many competitors so ...

I have the AEV Kit in my JK... If I were to do it again I would choose the burnsville kit. It is cheaper and the engine sits back further. I believe you need to bash in the firewall a bit but that is fine with me. The clearance between the motor and radiator is tight with the AEV kit. A little more clearance would probably allow better airflow which is a good thing. I had overheating issues and had to get a custom hood let some of that hot air out.
