Depends on the backspace of your wheels, and if you plan on wheeling it or not. I'm guessing not. But yea, 13.5 might not be too far of a stretch...I doubt you could get the 15.5 without rubbing. And just so you know, both those sizes will still be the same diameter as the tires you have now...35s, so you won't really be going bigger, just wider.

It'll be used for some light off roading, haven't had a chance lately due to a move. I'll look into the 13.5 then unless another says otherwise about being able to fit the 15.5 without rubbing. Would the wider tire help in the mud ? (Difference betwee 13 and 15 ? )

Yup. A 36X15.5 will do better in the mud than a 35X13.5.

By how much? I don't know. It will probably be less of a difference than a locker would make though.

An extra two inches of tire width will probably mean adjusting your steering stops too. You may also end up trimming your bumper.

Little bit of a bump as I'm ready to make a purchase shortly for some new tires.

Anyone know what difference I should see with on-road driving with the 35x13.5 Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ Specialty versus my current Procomp Mud-Terrian 3-ply 35x12.5. Apparently the Mickey Thompson's are an additional 10 pounds each. Aside from being completely different tires will I notice any difference with the extra inch of width for better or worse onroad ?

Thanks

Not the same tires, but I noticed a significant difference in the right hand pull on a 13.50 Toyo vs a 12.50 Cooper. Next tires I get I'll be going back to a 12.50. I imagine a 15.50 is gonna be more of a struggle for your power steering on road and possible more wear and tear on it off-road aswell without a hydrolic assist. Thats just my opinion though.
