Default wheels and tires

looking at getting a wheel and tire package but i'm not sure how you figure out what rim goes with what what tire when comparing sizes so they fit properly and have no issues when mounted on my jeep.

BFGoodrich Radial Mud Terrain KM Tire 33x10.50R-15
Series 97 Black Soft 8 Wheel by Pro Comp 15x8 wheel size 3.75 backspacing

does this work? or what do i need to change?

thanks,
adam

Are you set on 15" wheels? Some people have had problems with 15's rubbing on the brake caliper...to be safe, I would step up to a 16" with around 4"-5" of backspacing...3.75" is not bad at all, but with a tire that is 10.5" wide it might look a little odd to be sticking out so far.

My advice, get a 16" rim with 4"-5" of backspacing...and a 285/75R16 tire (32.8x11.2)

same tires, but on 16x8's with 5" backspacing

You have a bunch of posts, so I'll assume you've read the FAQ's?
https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/modified-jk-tech-2/modified-tech-faq-answers-questions-every-newbie-has-18617/

And this one?
https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/modified-jk-tech-2/15-wheels-what-fits-what-rubs-find-out-here-94709/

If you go with 15's, talk to your local shop to make sure they are cool with ordering and test fitting all rims on all 4 corners before mounting the tires. Would suck to wait a few thousand miles, rotate the spare in, and find out that it is the one that rubs...

You should know not all 15" rims will fit. Some will require grinding the caliper.

I bought my KM2's from Tirecrawler.com. They were even cheaper than Tire Rack and Discount Tire
